APF Level 2 Award in Perfumes
APF's Level 2 Award in Perfumes is a beginner- to intermediate-level qualification exploring perfumes, suitable for industry professionals and perfume enthusiasts.
This qualification is intended for beginners wishing to learn about a wide range of perfumes or those seeking to build on the introductory knowledge gained with the APF Level 1 Award in Perfumes. You’ll gain knowledge of the principal perfume families and historically important fragrance varieties of the 19th century till modern world, the raw fragrance materials in which they are used, and the styles of perfume they produce. Through a combination of blending and theory, you’ll explore the factors that impact style and quality and learn how to blend these perfumes and their variations with confidence.
The new Level 2 Award in Perfumes is more relevant, interactive and designed to allow our perfume consultants to immediately put in place what they learn into their daily lives and work. I learn all the stories and history of perfume creations, now I can appreciate and create perfumes just like a pro.

Course Delivery
This qualification has a minimum requirement of twelve hours of study time, in a classroom or online, with a APF course provider.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. People who are interested in perfume or intend to join the perfume industry are all welcome.
Requirements may vary by course provider.
Assessment
Subject to APF centre, assessment is taken by an online test or completion of different perfume families.
On successful completion of the examination you will receive a APF certificate and lapel pin, and will be able to use the associated APF certified logo.
