APF Level 1 Award in Perfumes
A beginner level introduction to perfume suitable for those starting a perfume career or pursuing an interest in perfumes.
For individuals new to perfume study, this qualification provides a hands-on introduction to the world of perfume. You’ll explore the main types and styles of perfume through smell, composition and odour group, while also gaining the basic skills to describe perfumes accurately and infuse synaesthesia into perfume creation. Upon successful completion, you will receive a APF certificate and lapel pin. Find out if this course is right for you.
APF qualifications gives a structural and progressive approach to develop my perfumery expertise. I have been inspired by the class and have made contacts with other perfumers in Asia. I wish more Australian can enjoy this professional training than uncomplicated workshop.

Course Delivery
This qualification has a minimum requirement of twelve hours of study time, in a classroom or online, with a APF course provider.

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements for this qualification. People who are interested in perfume or intend to join the perfume industry are all welcome.
Requirements may vary by course provider.
Assessment
Subject to the APF centre, assessment is carried out in written test or online assessment of about 20 multiple choice questions.
On successful completion of the examination you will receive a APF certificate and lapel pin.
